Tuesday 1/13/09

Jessica went to her 2 afternoon classes today, and sent me a text message between classes saying "I'm tired." Unfortunately I saw the message too late, so she made it through the rest of the school day.

Tonight, she took her online Algebra 2 semester exam, making a 94%! She's finished the course! It started on 10/9/08 with a couple of weeks off during her tonsillectomy, so it's been a crash course. And it's finally over!

Tomorrow is the standardized 3 hour End of Course test that starts at 8:00a.m. It's a required test, and the school didn't accept our request for provisions for later in the day. It will be a full day for her, but she will be happy to have it behind her. We're hoping we can even wake her up that early. So, it's early to bed...

Hi, Laura -

We've been away in Rochester, then back home for Craig's 11th birthday, then I caught the stomach virus Craig's had...so I've been out of touch.

I'm dying to hear how Jessica's big test went yesterday! She's been on my mind a lot.

Hope it went well - and glad that it's behind her now, so she can concentrate on her two new classes. Jamie's had mid-terms all week, and I've been so thankful that he's well enough to handle them, even after getting back from Rochester very late Monday night.

Hope all is well -

Sue

P.S. It's 20 degrees here today! I hope it's nice and warn down there for you!

Hi Sue!

That's good that Jamie's doing well for his mid-terms, especially after the trip! I hope Craig had a good birthday.

Jessica's standardized test and the day went well! A lot better than I'd thought. She made it through a WHOLE school day, and still felt well enough to celebrate that afternoon. (She had to recuperate some today.) She's thrilled and relieved to have it all behind her. Thanks for thinking of her.

Oh, and we had a light cover of snow on the ground this morning when we woke up. The wind chill factor is 16 degrees right now, and it's supposed to get down to 12 tonight, I believe. Brrrr...

I hope you're feeling better soon!
