An Average Week with a Busy One on the Horizon

Jessica had one day last week that she had a bad headache and stayed home for half the day. Sunday night of this week she woke me up in the middle of the night with leg pains. I took her some ibuprofen and rubbed her leg for half an hour. Tuesday she texted me at 2:15pm saying she didn't feel good - really tired and her ear was hurting (not sure what was going on with her ear). I called and checked her out of school early that day. She had slept in her 3rd block class and during LUNCH! And then came home and slept for 2-1/2 hours. She seems to have held up ok since then though.

This next week plus is going to be the test, as she's got a youth retreat this weekend and a dinner theater the next weekend (which will include rehearsals during the three days before). But she's going to be having fun if she can make it through it all!

As far as the ear hurting, my right ear hurts a lot. It is usually when I am fatigued or having pain in my shoulders and back. Other times, there seems to be no reason.

Anyway, I thought I would let you know.

I will keep Jessica in my prayers this week. I graduated in 2007 and Drama was my major so I totally understand what this coming week looks like for her. :-)

Wow Dominique - That's interesting. I wonder why the ear. I didn't know it had a connection to anything. It hasn't hurt since.

Thanks for the prayers. Always appreciated! She came home tired today after the busy weekend, and we still have more to go this week.

I hope that your doctor will manage to do everything on her activity list for this week. Good luck!

Sorry to hear that she's been struggling. I'll send up a prayer for her as well as the weekend approaches.

Part of the reason for the pain sometimes, is that we have a trigger point next to the right shoulder blade. That is attached to the muscles that lead all the way up to our ears.

I actually think that my ear pain has a lot to do with that one thing.

Also, I discovered (through my chiropractor) that if my neck was out, it always affected my ear!

Just thought I'd share that with you! :-)
