As usual lately, Jessica woke up slow this morning. But this afternoon, she was feeling good and wanting to get out. She went with me to pick up the boys (Matthew and a friend) from school, and then we went to Wal-Mart (the usual). Tonight, the kids and I went to the town's first annual Christmas parade and after-party. There were floats, lights, Santa Claus, hot chocolate, music, people dancing (Cha Cha Slide, macarena, etc.), carolers, Christmas movies on the big screen in the park, etc. Lots of fun! And, as the High School Varsity Dance Team's float passed us, the girls screamed "Jessica!..." (These were the girls that she was on the dance team with up until she got sick.) They were thrilled to see her. And that made our night!

The Christmas parade sounds like a lot of fun! And how wonderful that Jessica saw her old friends.
I forgot to mention it before, but I like your holiday background - very festive!
Sue
I love your beautiful background! I think it's my favorite Christmas themed layout yet.
I was reading through your blog. It's so interesting to see CFS through a caregiver's eyes. I wanted to link to your blog on my website, but I wanted to ask permission first, especially since Jessica is only a teenager.
Please visit my website and let me know what you think and if that would be ok. I'm at www.chronic-fatigue-community.com.
Thanks Sue! I love Christmas!
And thanks Shelli. I'd be honored for you to link to my blog. Thanks for asking. I also looked at your personal blog, and found the gratitude and thankfulness through it all very refreshing.
