Jessica didn't feel well this morning. She was really tired, and her whole body aches, especially her back. I know her back is from being bucked off the horse yesterday, but I don't know if all of the body aches are to be attributed to the fall or CFS.
She made it to her first class, English, and while they were listening to the recorded reading of the book 1984, Jessica said she fell asleep with her head in her hands. I doubt that it was for long, and she doesn't think the teacher noticed. I had already planned to pick her up after English. So, she missed her 2nd class, and came home and slept for an hour and a half. After yesterday, she needed that nap to recuperate.

Thinking of Jessica and hope she is having some good days...
I think the Famvir is starting to kick in. My body temp is up in the 98 range which is high for me. Does Jessica do those IV's at the F&F center?
Hi Paula! Sorry I haven't written in a while. How long have you been on Famvir? Jessica's body temp has been low also. She did an IV at the F&F center at the end of July. She didn't feel well that night (had a rough time with the IV), but then felt better for 2 weeks afterwards. That appointment in July was our last appointment there, and have had telephone appointments since then, since we live 6 hours away. Do you get the IV's?
Jessica's had a pretty good week. I hope you have as well.
Laura
Oh wow, 6 hours is far. At least you found the clinic somewhat early on. It took me 3 years. Glad Jessica is having some good days.
IV is really rough for me too. I can only do 1/2 bag and feel awful the next 2-3 days. Doc says it "wakes" up your immune system. I will say though that my reading has improved somewhat this week. I feel more in control of my eyes and focus. Baby steps.. I've been on the Famvir for 1 month. I am more tired and achy. Could be the cold winter making the joints hurt more..
Take care!
We'll drive the 6 hours if that's what we need to do though, since we couldn't find anything close.
Did you have a herx reaction to the Famvir? I didn't know the eyes and focus could be a factor in this. But I'm learning something new all the time! I'm glad you're reading has improved. Baby steps are good!
Jessica gets achy frequently too.
